Get ready for a year filled with dance, movement, and unforgettable moments. We are delighted to present the 2026 Annual Calendar, a celebration of artistry and unity. From Regional to National and International Championships, this is your year to shine, with the Dancer always first.

Our 2025 highlights included hosting the South African Open Dance Championships™, welcoming all nine provinces, 57 studios, and celebrating our SA Champions.  A record 50 dancers were awarded South African Colours. The Pro-Am South African Championships, four Super Series, Cup Competitions, Dance Festivals, Valentine’s Ball, and international Development Congresses further showcased our talent in our community. We also applaud the dancers who represented South Africa at the WDC World and WDC AL World Championships, you make us proud. Heartfelt thanks to our sponsors whose support brings these events to life.

A major highlight for 2026 is the combined South Open Dance Championships™ for Danceport and Pro-Am, taking place over three exciting days in Gauteng from 4–6 December 2026.. This unified event offers a significant advantage for studios presenting multiple dance styles, bringing everything together in one dynamic Championship experience.

We strongly encourage you to be part of Blackpool Dance Festival 100^TH Anniversary in May, a once-in-a-century celebration.

Our mission remains to unify dance through a fully inclusive platform open to all associations, all dancers, and all dance styles. Please renew your annual SADF membership and be part of our progressive association. The registration deadline has been extended to 31 January 2026. Only members registered by this date will be eligible to officiate at sanctioned events in the first half of 2026.
