Good Day Friends, Club Heads, Dancers and RITJ Supporters, I trust this mail will find you well, As you requested via Facebook Page, please find the 2019 Rumba in the Jungle ENTRY FORM for your urgent attention. Given the exciting programme that we have lined up for you, it will be a grave mistake if you CLOSING DATE for the Festival. As Rumba in the Jungle is positioned to accommodate all dancers irrespective of their affiliations, we have seen it befitting to share as much information as possible before the closing date and allow all supporters to make an informed choices/decisions. The Festival will this year take place on the 24-27 October 2019, taking place in the four (4) venues of Sun City - Super Arena, Kings Ballroom, Warriers Hall and Crater Hall.
The Summary Programme of the Event is as follows: - 1. Development Congress : Thursday 5th October 2019 - 10:30 to 16:30, Kings Ballroom. The LECTURERS will include ALL International Judges (Lisa Bellinger-Ivanet, Laura O’Brien, Leonid Pletnev, Vera Pletnev, Gabriele Goffredo, Anna Matus, Andrea Ghigiarelli, Sarah Andracchio and other South African expert/s.
2. Dance Competitions : All Dance Competitions will take place from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th October 2019. Please refer to the Summary Programme on the ENTRY FORM.
3. Market Access : 40 Enterprises in the Market Platform - Worriers Hall, plus RITJ Fashion Show, from Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th October 2019
4. Gala Evening : Saturday 26th October 2019, Sun City Super Arena, (Showing the Ultimate Battle), AFRICAN FOOTPRINT will provide an OPENING with flags for all participating countries displayed during the opening of the Gala Evening.
5. Tickets : All Daily and Seasonal Tickets are available at Computicket, Shoprite, Checkers and PEP Store around the country. Gala Tickets are ONLY available through special booking from Malebogo Mokoena. She is reachable on – 072 187 3093.

Our first Newsletter acknowledges the contributions from our extended Supporters, friends in Dance and Members. We reflect on our successes for 2018 and extend appreciation to everyone who participated in the journey. Our 2019 calendar is underway and we have a jam packed year ahead. Human Rights Day Festival is a commemoration of our cultural heritage in support of our immense contribution to the arts, culture and heritage sector. We remember the sacrifices that accompanied the struggle for the attainment of a truly democratic South Africa.
