Dear Dancing CommunityWe are pleased to share the exciting Calendar of Events, that is jam-packed with Competitions, Workshops, Development Congresses, Professional Development, WDC and WDC AL World Series events.We are very pleased to announce we have remained consistent with the dates of the Super Series Championships, which are now in its EIGHTH year of existence. The Super Series draws top talent from ALL the Regions in South Africa and are qualifiers for the much sought after South African Colours. Our South African Open Dance Championships (SAODC), is on 29 November - 1 December 2019 in Kwazulu-Natal, one of the most scenic provinces in South Africa with rich history and beautiful weather. South African Champion titles will be awarded in ALL dance style e.g. Ballroom, Latin American, Solo, Disco/Freestyle, Social/Pro-Am and the like. We have remained consistent with the date of the SA Championship which is the week before the WDC AL Open to World Championships. Couples competing in the Professional Ballroom section at SAODC are kindly requested to contact Head Office onsadancefoundation@gmail.com to clarify the arrangements for 2019. We extend warm appreciation for your amazing support at the 2018 SAODC at the iconic CTICC and prepared a DVD clip with highlights for your viewing at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hIha8vmEyEWe encourage you to renew your annual SADF membership and/or join our progressive Association that provides an Open, Unified dance platform to ALL dancers bringing you a plethora of opportunities and World Class events. Members wanting to renew/obtain a WDC Competitor and Adjudicator licenses are encouraged to renew their annual licenses this week to remain in good standing as the WDC is strict with deadline dates. The 2019 SADF Tariffs and Registration forms are attached and also accessible via the website,www.sadancefoundation.co.za and the Social registration forms are available directly from the Social Faculty. On behalf of the RITJ Organising Committee, thank you kindly to the World for contributing to the success of RITJ. Last week this time, the Sun Arena and Kings Ballroom was cooking with dancing with the support of a massive team. I would like to acknowledge the many appreciation notes received from everyone including the international dance community on the RITJ experience. South African Open Dance Championships is happening on 30 November - 2 December 2018 @ iconic CTICC2 in scenic Cape Town and is Open to ALL Dancers, ALL Associations in the spirit of Freedom to Dance.
This major National Championship starts at 18h00 on 30 November with Freestyle, Bhangra, Traditional, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Belly Dance genres. The Ballroom, Latin, Solo Ballroom, Solo Latin, and Physically Challenged genres' SA Championship is on 1 December 2018. Social/Pro-Am and Line Dance SA Championships is on 2 December 2018.
South African National Colours will be handed out to cream of the crop Championship dancers. The title event promises to be absolutely amazing with a fabulous panel of Adjudicators. The strict entry closing date is on 16 November 2018.
