annual Human Rights Festival at Oaklands High School Auditorium on 23 March 2024.       

Calling all members of the Dance Community to come together and showcase the richness of our cultures through movement and rhythm. This festival is more than just a gathering, it's a celebration of human dignity, equality, and justice for all. Let's dance for freedom, for inclusion, and for the rights of every individual to live a life of respect and dignity. Together, we can amplify the message of Human Rights and inspire positive change in our communities.

This marks the kickoff for you to earn points for WC Regional Colours. The strict Entry closing date is 13 March 2024.

Dear Dance Community

Human Rights Day Festival is a commemoration of our cultural heritage in support of our immense contribution to the arts, culture and heritage sector. We remember the sacrifices that accompanied the struggle for the attainment of a truly democratic South Africa.

As part of our goal to unite Dance, we invite ALL Associations to participate in this cultural celebration of dance. The Festival is Open to ALL Associations in the spirit of Freedom to Dance.  

Please save the 30 March 2019 for this amazing event at Brackenfell Civic Centre, Western Cape. Entries close 15 March 2019.
