Thank you for your attendance and support in making our event a success.The amount of entries received obliged us to run sections simultaneously on two dance floors to accommodate the overwhelming amount of entries received. However, the SADF, North West Regional branch apologizes for the unfortunate incident that occurred during the last three sections of the NW SUPER STARS CHAMPIONSHIPS, hosted on the 6th of August 2016 at the North West University. This regrettable incident happened despite all prior risk assessments and contingency measures been put in place by the Regional Organizing Committee and North West University. This was as a result of the other event been hosted at the same Mafikeng Campus which was about to reach a point of being out of control. To this effect, and on advice of the university security the North West local Organizing Committee had no choice but to priorities your safety, hence the decision to fast forward the program without compromising the end results. Having taken due regard to the inconvenience caused, the SADF North West organizing committee will be posting all the results on the SADF website (www.sadancefoundation.co.za) and courier trophies of the winning couples to the respective winners. In addition, the Chairpersons of the representative provinces have also been task to ensure that they assist in ensuring that all winners receive their trophies. Once again we are truly humbled by your cooperation and amazing sportsmanship of working with us as we quickened the pace of the last three sections to wrap up an otherwise awesome day, ensuring the safety of all our competitors,their families and supporters. This is the second Super Series Championship for the year and a points competition for National Colours. The Annual SADF WC Coastal Super Series Championships is happening on 25 June 2016 at Oaklands Auditorium, Chukker Road, Kenilworth. This spectacular event will include Ballroom, Latin American, Solo Latin, Hip Hop, Traditional and for the very first time Solo Ballroom. "Burn the Floor" will be demonstrating at the 2016 Freedom Day Championships. Every spectator ticket and every entry will receive 20% discount on their Burn the floor tickets for 10 people each! They will also have a Computicket stand at the competition in order for you to redeem your discount on your tickets immediately. The Freedom Day Championship closing date has also been extended to the 18 April 2016 to accommodate everybody. This is going to be a spectacular event of dance and entertainment and we hope to see you all at the 2016 Freedom Day Championships!
